Where is our data held?
BankClarity is installed on your server(s), so the data remains completely in your control, in your building.
Does it work on a Citrix network?
Yes. Our applications can be run over a Citrix and terminal services network.
How long would it take to install BankClarity, and for us to ‘go live’?
To install and get to a client to a ‘User Acceptance Testing’ level, can be achieved in 10 working days. We would then be ready to complete staff training and ‘Go Live’ based upon your timetable.
Once installed can anyone view ALL information in BCT?
No. You decide which employees see which clients and therefore their associated information. Each employee has their own User Name and Password.
I want to put all my banking information into BankClarity, can I do that?
Yes, and you should. You can import the bank files downloaded from a number of Banks, and ‘add’ statement entries to bank accounts from paper statements to have a complete record of all transactions - BankClarity rules can be set on both types of bank accounts.
I want to send my client copies of bank statements - is this possible? Will they be safe?
You can print hard copies - for any period - and mail or fax them. However, as bank statements are obviously confidential, we would recommend using BCT's password protected PDF facility, which can be securely emailed. Just print in the normal way and then "Save As....PDF", add your password and email.
Will it integrate with all Trust packages?
We integrate with a number of Trust packages, and are happy to consider introductions to others to add to the growing list. If we cannot integrate we have a ‘standalone’ version which has most of the benefits of our core application.
Will our firewall security need to be altered to take BankClarity into account?
No. As the application is internal there would be no changes required.
Can we feed other information into BankClarity from a 3rd party?
Yes. Apart from import information from your Trust package, and the online banks, we can feed information from other sources into BankClarity – useful should you wish to feed in KYC info..
How much will BankClarity cost? Is there a install cost in addition to the licence fee?
The cost is calculated on a scaled matrix based upon the number of Entities you have as a business (not bank accounts) – For example a Entity is a Trust or Company, and is likely have a number of bank accounts. The installation is all part of the licence agreement, so there are no additional costs, or hidden charges. |
